Hi, my name is Dominic Casey. Welcome to my website, and thank you for dropping by. I am a landscape photographer living and working in West Cork on the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland.
I’ve been taking photographs of Ireland’s stunning landscape for over 30 years; when you live somewhere as beautiful as West Cork, it is hard not to take pictures.
At age fourteen, I got my first camera, a hand-me-down from my older brother, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked, using any free time I had to take photos.
Although taking photos for over thirty years, I only began selling my prints in 2020. When the world couldn’t visit West Cork, I decided to offer a piece of West Cork to the world.
What started as an Instagram account to share photos of my walks with my wife Gemma and our two kids during lockdowns quickly grew into a small business, followers began to request prints and more locations, and stockists got in touch. Since then, it has been a bit of a whirlwind, and I recently finished my first exhibition at Cork Airport.
Working as a Marketing Manager by day and I recently secured my Masters in Digital Marketing Strategy from Munster Technology College (MTU). I thought a Masters would make me a better marketer, but in reality, it opened my eyes to how small our beautiful world can be through the use of websites and social media. I can connect to people all over the world with a shared love of photography and a shared love of the Wild Atlantic Way.
